A tape measure and two minutes will tell you more than a product photo. Here is how to pick a belt bag that sits where you want it and holds what you carry, with the measurements of every SINNO bag in one table.

Measure where the bag will sit

Wrap a soft tape around the part of you the strap will cross, over the clothes you will wear with the bag. For a fanny pack at your waist, that is your waist over a T-shirt or a jacket. For a bag worn across your chest, measure from one shoulder, diagonally across your body, to the opposite hip and around your back.

Then compare the number with the strap range. Our large four-zip fanny pack buckles from 26 to 51 inches, so most people can wear it both ways. The stretch running belt runs from 30 to 42 inches and is meant for the waist only.

Measure your phone with its case on

Phone sizes are quoted as the screen diagonal, but a case adds width and depth. Our running belt and our touchscreen phone purse take phones up to 6.5 inches. For anything bigger, go for the large or slim fanny pack or the small nylon crossbody, which take a phone of any size.

Count what you carry

Lay out what goes with you on a normal day: phone, keys, cards, earbuds, maybe a passport. Four things that should not scratch each other want four pockets, which is what the four-zip packs and the small crossbody bag have.

Wearing it in a crowd

When you travel, the U.S. Department of State’s advice from the U.S. Embassy in Paris is to carry only what you can afford to lose, keep a copy of your passport, and keep a zipped bag in front of you where you can see it. A belt bag worn across your chest does that last part. It does not replace the rest.

Running near traffic

A running belt keeps your phone off your hand. It does nothing to make you visible, so follow the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration: reflective materials or a flashlight at night, and walk facing traffic where there is no sidewalk.

Slipper sizes

Our cat paw slippers come in paired sizes: women's 5-6 to 15-16, men's 3-4 to 13-14. If your feet are wide or you wear socks inside, take the next pair up.

A strap length is a range, not a promise. Measure around the part of you the bag will sit on, over the clothes you will wear it with, and leave a hand’s width of slack so the zipper stays within reach.
